The Palace of Versailles is a giant fortress where a few kings lived. While I thought the palace itself was a little to modernized/redone for tourists, the gardens surrounding them were amazing. I have no idea how big they actually were, but it wasn't possible to walk them all in a day.
This was the only place in the Palace that I thought was cool to see. It's called the Hall of Mirrors,
and is where the Treaty of Versailles was signed that ended World War I. And since I wrote a
giant paper on the Treaty of Versailles in 8th grade I was glad to finally see it.
