Stockholm, Sweden

Anyone that might remotely knows me knows that if you ask me what I am, I will say Swedish. One, because I am, two because I don't think it's very common and I have to be different, three I really like the Swedish Flag, I have one in my dorm room.  So when I found a cheap flight I immediately booked it, and since no one wanted to come with me, I did it alone, which is actually wicked fun.  Anyways - I LOVED IT!! It was by far my favorite place!! It was so pretty, and had thousands of different things to do.  The down fall were the prices.  Sweden uses the Krona and it was really hard for me to gauge prices.  For example, a cup of coffee costs between 50 and 80 Krona ($8-$12). So that sucked.  But the open market had better prices that you could haggle on, so I survived.

When I got off the plane, I must have somehow gone out the wrong way, because I didn't go through Swedish customs to let them know how long I'd be staying here.  So when it came time to get back on the plane to return to Ireland, the lady was like, "you didn't legally enter...but it's okay go ahead."

The airport was in the countryside (about 1:20 hour bus).

Overlooking Old Town and Norrmalm (the river on the right separates the two).  The Swedish
Royal Palace is the building that is cut off on the left side, and Parliament is the third big building
from the left.

Stockholm  is made up of 14 boroughs, and I walked around 2.5 of them (the .5 because Old Town is part of Norrmalm), but is its own island).  Anyways, since I took so many pictures, there are links on this post to divide it up a bit:
